LESSONS:
Private – $90 per person Group – $75 per person, 3 to 5 people Geared as an introduction to stand up paddle boarding, our experienced instructor will give you an overview on land and get you paddling on the water in no time! The 2 hour instruction includes board, paddle, PFD, transportation of equipment and will include safety, how to hold the paddle, self rescue, getting on board, stance, basic paddle strokes, basic paddle turns. Our instructor, Renee Atzingen is an experienced paddleboarder, who now competes around the State. Renee is happy to share her knowledge and love of the sport, her enthusiasm will no doubt inspire not only the beginner but also seasoned paddler!

“I love the water! Swimming since the age of 2, I like all kinds of water sports….snorkeling, scuba diving, and stand up paddle boarding. I like to be in and on the water, but the paddle board has really given me a sport I can adjust to suite my mood. It can be a very Zen experience, a slow quiet paddle all by myself or it can be exciting, a competition to see who can go the fastest and or the farthest with as many people as possible. I have had my own paddleboard for about 3 years and just a few months ago acquired a nice race board that has really improved my speed. I started teaching others to paddleboard because it is an easy sport to master as it just takes practice, but can be a little frustrating for some people at first. If we can deliver a paddleboard and lesson at the same time, the experience is much better and another SUP lover is discovered! This is a sport that anyone that can swim can do and enjoy.
